The objective of this project was to create an online advertisement to be used on the website and Facebook page of Haskins Funeral Home. This specific ad was to be used to encourage individuals and their families to pre-arrange their funerals and other needs in advance.
For this particular advertisement, the main challenge was to create an ad that would encourage the audience to look further into pre-planning their funeral services, whilst not coming off too somber or light-hearted. To achieve this, I chose a photograph of an elderly gentleman seemingly contemplating his life, while using a warm-toned colour palette of gold and brown tones. This colour palette also matched the branding of the funeral home, which gave the advertisement a more personalized touch.
